Was a great experience. Only ther one day, but I appreciated my stay. Was perfect for a business stay. Would go back there next time I have to travel for business. :) :) :) -----------------------------------------------------------------------

I would have expected the rooms to have been slightly bigger for the prices involved. I realise that Im paying for the location but even so I felt cramped in the bathroom, 5157 and the fridge was miniscule. I never got round to using the tv, and I felt that the breakfast buffet whilst very nice was totally unsuitable for a celiac sufferer. I had to in the end go for breakfast outside the hotel twice on a four day stay. Where I got better food. Having said that the bed was comfortable enough . The view was good. and overall it was satisfactory but the ice machine put out shavings that were difficult to pick up with the tongs. I wont be staying here again as I find it totally overrated for what it is. Unless of course someone else is paying. I appreciated the valet parking and have no trouble with that. Overall I had a satisfactory experience. I would not however stay here again

We celebrated my wife's birthday in Quebec City and spent three nights at the Chateau Frontenac. Located in the heart of the old city, we were incredibly convenient to all of the restaurants, pubs, shops and historical sights that make Quebec so famous. It was a memorable trip and in every respect, the hotel was "top notch." Our king room on the 12th floor was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and it provided a wonderful view of the city. We opted to stay on the Gold Level, and although that costs a bit more, it is well worth it. Aside from the separate check in desk and personalized concierge service, the private 14th floor lounge offers spectacular views of the entire city as well as a full breakfast and assortment of late afternoon snacks that satisfied our every craving. Notably, the service was impeccable. In particular, a special shout out goes to Laura, our breakfast server in the lounge each morning. While attentive, professional, and sincerely friendly, she also has a great memory and always remembered exactly how we take our coffee. Such a little thing that made a BIG difference! We will most certainly be back for a return visit!

The Famous Fairmont is the perfect experience while visiting the charming and beautiful Quebec City with old flair and interesting history with great location to walk everywhere!! Recommend the breakfast and also sign up for the walking tour of old city that the hotel offers for free !

Great Getaway

My husband and I booked the Chateau Frontenac hotel for a 10 day getaway. We enjoyed the gold floor service everyday. We got to know the servers/hosts personally and they also offered suggestions on where to sightsee. We felt pampered and they knew our coffee preferences before we ordered. The maple lattes were delicious hot and iced. The hotel offered complimentary tours, wine tasting, mixology, and other experiences. By the time we checked out we felt like family and would definitely return again.
